Ostrołęka C coal power plant with 1000 MW capacity, located in Poland northeast is now going through a suspension process. INCICO s.p.a. has been indirectly involved in the process since the design, on behalf of General Electric Steam Power System, is now suspended waiting for Polish energy firms Energa and Enea decision.
The design progress is at high stage and construction of the plant has already started. Incico performed the detailed design of the turbine hall steel building (5800 ton of steel elements workshop drawings) and design of civil BOP portion of the plant. Ostrołęka C, which was stated as Poland’s last new coal-fired power station, may be turned into a gas-fired power plant.
