Ostrołęka C coal power plant with 1000 MW capacity, located in Poland northeast is now going through a suspension process. INCICO s.p.a. has been indirectly involved in the process since the design, on behalf of General Electric Steam Power System, is now suspended waiting for Polish energy firms Energa and Enea decision.
The design progress is at high stage and construction of the plant has already started. Incico performed the detailed design of the turbine hall steel building (5800 ton of steel elements workshop drawings) and design of civil BOP portion of the plant. Ostrołęka C, which was stated as Poland’s last new coal-fired power station, may be turned into a gas-fired power plant.

The Waste to Energy project in East Rockingham, Australia to be built by Hitachi Zosen Inova (CH) in consortium with Suez (F), encompasses the design, construction, financing and operation of a greenfield Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility in the Rockingham Industry Zone 40km south of the Perth Central Business District. The new facility will treat approximately 300,000 tonnes per year of residual waste from municipal, commercial and industrial sources and up to 30,000 tonnes per year of biosolids. The EfW facility will generate approximately 29MW of reliable renewable energy, enough to power over 36,000 homes.

Within the new Cacity Market regulation, ENEL intends to implement some important repowering Project converting into gas systems the existing Power Plants in Fusina (VE), La Spezia, Montalto di Castro (VT) e Termini Imerese (PA).
The Project shall be developed in BIM and INCICO is well positioned to participate the Multidisciplinary Design Engineering tenders. Possible cooperation agreements with other Companies are currently under evaluation.

INCICO submitted its quotation to PWI for a new By-Product Plant to be implemented at Erdemir (Turkey) just a side the Blast Furnace which project was recently completed at design level by INCICO.
The initiative is very challenging and will require about 100.000 MH of Multidisciplinary Design in E3D environment; for such Project INCICO can relay in the full satisfaction and support from the Client. The tender outcome is expected by next March.

The selection of the new Electrical Engineering Manager at INCICO is now over: Fabio Consolini, an Electrical Master Degree Engineer 47 years old, currently covering the Head position at the Electrical Department in Ducati Energia, is having wide experience in HV and MV system for Power generation and he was previously engaged into safety and signalling projects for railways under Alstom Transport.
He will start his task at INCICO on 2020 March, once the notice period under his current Company is over.
